(^_^) yay, vday goody bags!

it's been nice having a tad bit more time to catch up with my tea time/book club friends *hugs* (well asides from all those dreadful appointments anyway). never in a million years did i think i'd join any of these types of groups but i'm happy & thankful i did & thankful that steve encouraged me to do so. it was a great idea.
basically our tea group happens to be into the same types of books. and handbags. and accessories, and hair..and our kid(s)...and our "furbabies" as one of them coined our belOved dogs/cats.
it's been interesting getting to know these witty group of women ranging in age from 24-38. some married, divorced, un-married, with & without children: different walks of life. it's been an uplifting experience.
anyway, it's been fun trying to decide on a location for our most recent tea exchange & opted to try out a couple places a few of the girls haven't been yet. with how hectic our schedules are, catching up is always a pleasure when we're able.
the cha seng won tea house 10 miles from home (photo credit from julie k.) is a korean owned tea house. cute, cozy, comfy and welcoming with a soothing atmosphere. it was one we almost went to, but decided against it at the end. maybe next time - when there is time!

how pretty...

but in the end we unanimously voted for fantasia coffee & tea at santana row, where majority of our little group sipped on twinings earl grey aged italian black tea *heavenly*.

inside: tiny but cozy & not clausterphobic

why tea/book club is uplifting? because of the random acts of kindess. we all exchange treats, tea & book info & share "tea samplers"; borrow each other's books; and repeat cycle again when time allows for us all.

ohhh i just liked this shot of the ribbon's i used. looks so 'comforting'? ;)
